Students will conduct research under the supervision of a CUHK faculty member and earn three credits upon successful completion of the programme. Over the summer of , SURP will be offered both face-to-face and virtually.
Around 50 research projects are offered in various academic disciplines, including Arts, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Science and Social Science. Students participating in the face-to-face mode will be responsible for quarantine related costs. Currently, the quarantine period ranges from 7 to 21 days. It offers top undergraduate students from around the world the opportunity to spend a summer studying at world-class research laboratories, side-by-side with prominent research professors.
It will prepare undergraduate students for further study through intensive research experiences with faculty mentors and enrichment activities. Participants will also learn about Chinese language and culture, enhancing their intercultural awareness and communication. A non-refundable RMB application fee is required though.
RISE Germany offers undergraduate students from North American, British and Irish universities the opportunity to complete a summer research internship at top German universities and research institutions. Students are matched with a host university or institute according to their area of interest biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering, or a closely related field.
Host universities and institutes provide housing assistance and match students with Ph. German language is not required and the working language will be in English.

Students interested in this opportunity will not be able to take academic courses simultaneously with this program as they will be expected to work 40 hours weekly.
