With OneDrive, you can share and access your spreadsheets in the cloud from anywhere and work on them collaboratively. The majority of other file formats are compatible with Excel files, so should someone send you a file in another file format, Excel should be able to open it and render the contents correctly.
Excel is part of the Microsoft Office suite and works well in conjunction with the other programs in the bundle. You can purchase Excel as a stand-alone product, as part of a desktop suite or as part of Office Many of these spreadsheet programs would serve schools and students well.
This means that schools can provide students with copies of the software and install the software across multiple PCs and laptops without significant expense, and without breaching any licensing terms that may be associated with similar software.
Choosing a well-rounded free program also means that any student with a computer can access the software, so it puts every student on a level playing field. This spreadsheet software has plenty of features and is versatile enough to equal its biggest premium-cost rivals.
It has an impressive selection of templates and allows students to create their own or import them from third-party sources. Calc is the spreadsheet software included with LibreOffice.
For home users, Google Sheets is our first choice. Part of the Google Apps suite and connected to Google Drive, this spreadsheet software is versatile, free to use and user-friendly. You can easily create to-do lists, schedules and holiday shopping lists, then access them from any computer or mobile device with the Google Drive app.

Choose software that allows you to easily convert your files into PDF format if you want to ensure your spreadsheets cannot be easily altered without leaving an electronic footprint. Creating PDF files also reduces file sizes and lets you easily add password protection. If you use it to perform a clean installation you have options in Windows setup that allow you to delete partitions, format the hard drive, and install Windows.
This action will result in the removal of all data that presently resides on the hard drive. If your problem is such that a repair installation will solve it, you can use the CD to perform a repair installation. If you have updated your hard drive to Service Pack 3, this option will not be available to you. If you are able to perform the repair installation, however, your files and data will be left alone and only the operating system files and certain registry data will be replaced.
You may certainly try either of the options described above, but you have two other choices. You may go to the malware removal forum and see if one of the experts there can help you remove the viruses, or if you decide to back up your files and restore your system, you should be able to use the Dell PC Restore feature. If your computer has the restore feature, you will notice a blue stripe that appears at the top of your display when the self test has finished following a restart of the computer.
If you press CTRL and F11, releasing both at the same time while the blue stripe is showing, you should get a menu allowing you to either restore your computer to factory delivered condition or quit. Caution; this option completely replaces the contents of your C: drive with an image of the original contents of the drive as delivered from Dell. Make sure you back up anything you want to keep before attempting this process.
You probably are right about the repair mode. It would fix the damaged DLL but would do nothing about the malware, something that I'll have to take into consideration. Reinstalling the drivers is one of the things that makes me nervous. I hope that you are right about the instructions at the Dell Support site. Good suggestions on the anti-malware programs. The problem is that I already have Malware Bytes installed on my computer and I haven't been able to get it to launch for a couple of months.
I hope that I can get this sorted out. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Great suggestions. I will try them and see how things turn out. I wish that I had more experience resolving this type of problem but that is not the case.
As already suggested by JackShack, if you want help to remove Malware you will need to create a new thread in the M alware Removal forum, click here. Before posting there, I suggest you first read the sticky thread by Bugbatter, click here. Edit: If not already seen? Did Microsoft allow DigitalRiver. Were they freely available for everyone to download? Was it was possible to get hold of a link and download one of these ISOs?
Are all these links still available on the internet somewhere? Microsoft did want to allow some people to be able to download an ISO of their version of Windows, but Microsoft also believes they should be the ones to decide who should, and should not be downloading their OS. I'm not talking about the broad sense of the decision Since you are talking about using the key on the COA sticker on the bottom of the laptop, you are talking about an OEM installation as opposed to a Retail installation You don't want one that is pre-activated, or comes with a crack or a hack.
You just want an untouched ISO. You might get lucky. You can also contact the manufacturer of the laptop Via their Support web site and request to purchase the recovery media for that model laptop.
OMG, you just want the OS! I know this. Remember, we are talking about Windows XP here. The OS that was replaced by Vista As a last resort, you could contact Microsoft directly Sticker will say. If it does, it means OEM install. As such, the key you're seeing is a broad key that will not work for a re-install. Most manufacturers have a reinstall partition, bootable by a key-sequence at the right time during boot.
If that got blown-away possibly by you prior to posting here ,. Find an OEM image for your manufacturer. Again, if you're posting here, you're not Googling enough, or too antsy about getting tools where you need to. And the end-user will be happy having that physically in their storage. However, it would be clever to visit the manufacturer's site and see if there are any recovery disk images available for your specific laptop model.
If you decide to use a retail version of Windows, it is recommended that you download all the necessary drivers for your laptop and copy them on a USB stick or burn them on a CD so that you can get online etc.
Sometimes people forget to download all the appropriate drivers for their Ethernet card, and they cannot get online after installing Windows. You just have to have a lot of patience to find them for your specific laptop model.
