Ross and contributes annually toward tuition assistance for those families in financial need. Administered by The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation, this living fund is open for unrestricted contributions to support current and future NVS students. Those wishing to donate to this fund may contact the Trust at Not only is New Vistas helping my child achieve academic success, they are also fostering a positive self worth and an unbridled enthusiasm for learning.

I have to confess, once again, that after attending graduation, I am still so awed by the wonderful environment New Vistas School provides. I found myself always coming back to two words - nurturing and accountability. As children grow and transition into new schools and programs, sometimes another option needs to be considered.

Students volunteering at Mary's Kitchen. Giving back to people who are homeless and hungry. Our enrichment programs include after-school clubs, Community-based Instruction, Venture Crew and more. We were so happy with her progress, that now, 5 years later, she is about to graduate.
